Phoenix Theatre Ensemble Presents a Stand-up Comedy Benefit Event
THE DORK KNIGHT
Jason O'Connell's One (Bat)Man Show makes its way back to NYC for ONE NIGHT ONLY!
(And don't miss Jason in the Phoenix's production of ART - playing now!)
THE DORK KNIGHT tells the tale of one grown man's obsession with movies about another grown man's obsession with
dressing up like a rodent and punching people. Y'know... that old chestnut...
Accompanied by the bat-voices in his head (Jack Nicholson, Michael Keaton, Heath Ledger, and others make "cameos"),
O'Connell strolls down a memory lane of formative life moments that leads from Tim Burton's iconic "Batman" to Chris Nolan's
iconic "Dark Knight" (with lots of less-than-iconic bat guano in between).
THE DORK KNIGHT is a wildly nerdy, lovingly personal portrait that speaks to the geek in us all...
